My first contact with Trader Jack's Designs was with Becky Lauritzen making a home visit. I found Becky to be prompt, professional and knowledgeable. I felt that Becky was easy to work with and had a lot of excellent ideas without being overbearing. Becky will certainly be fully involved as I continue to redecorate my home.
For several years I would always stop at Trader Jack’s when I was in the area. Browsing through the antiques and décor would inspire me, but after being stuck in indecision for a few years over choosing colors for my home, I decided to ask Becky for her advice. I have since used her color choices for my exterior shutters and front door, and interior wall color. I’m very happy with them. It was such a pleasant experience working with Becky, I hesitate to call it “working.” I particularly liked that she sent me a follow up letter listing all her suggestions regarding color choices, finishes, and fabric samples. I would have been hard pressed to remember it all.
Becky reupholstered my dining room chairs. Her expertise in helping me pick a durable fabric that complemented the rest of my décor was much appreciated. Her workmanship in completing the job was also outstanding, as all eight chairs match each other perfectly.
Becky took time to get to know my tastes and what appeals to me. I needed help in coming up with ideas to decorate both our main living area and our master bedroom. She strikes the perfect balance between providing suggestions and opinions but incorporating your own ideas and motif into the outcome. I love working with Becky as she's creative and thoughtful not to mention, a perfectionist! The job WILL be done right. She's a joy to work with and the only interior designer I will ever use. Every time I walk into one of those two rooms it's with a sense of pure satisfaction and a pat on the back for walking into Trader Jack Designs two years ago.
I cannot say enough good things about Becky and Trader Jack Designs. It was such a pleasure to work with Becky on window treatments throughout my house. She was never pushy about her preferences or disdainful about mine. Becky was meticulous in seeing that orders were all accurately placed and then fulfilled. Her installations are very neat and completely workable. She is a delight to work with, and I would strongly recommend her decorating and design services to anyone who is looking for quality work.

Becky of Trader Jack Designs has cheerfully guided us with everything in our home from paint colors to furniture selection and placement to fabric selections. Her recommendations are always made with careful consideration for our taste, lifestyle, and budget. Becky is meticulous with her work and has designed and sewn beautiful draperies, pillows, and cushions for our home. I love the fact that she has fabric samples in her shop (or we can get it elsewhere), and she does the work personally right there. Becky, without a doubt, has the most uncanny ability to read a person and create an environment that is for that person only. I love her work! My whole house is her creation, and I love every tiny scrap of it. I couldn't describe clearly what I wanted but she instinctively knew. As usual, she is right on target.
